2017 #Take12Trips

December 27, 2016August 31, 2017 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

I'm not usually one for New Year's resolutions- I believe you can start making a change any day of the year, and January 1 doesn't need to be an end-all, be-all catalyst. But, last year, I wanted to set a goal for myself that I could track and talk about. And, with starting a travel blog on my … Continue reading 2017 #Take12Trips

Looking Back at 2016

December 20, 2016May 4, 2019 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

Looking back on this year, I'm beyond grateful for the travel opportunities I had to venture to new and familiar places on my own, and with people I love. Thinking back to the first time I planned a solo international trip in 2015, it seems crazy to think that's now the norm. I feel like … Continue reading Looking Back at 2016

#Take12Trips: November

November 30, 2016December 23, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

Paraphrasing one of my favorite quotes- the bad news is time flies, but the good news is you're in charge. I feel like yesterday was just October 31, I can't believe it's already the last day of November! Before I talk about this month's travel, I do want to acknowledge this was a tough month for … Continue reading #Take12Trips: November

#Take12Trips: October

November 11, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

October kicked off in a city that's become one of my favorite places, Paris. My first time in Paris, I liked the city, but didn't love it. This trip, I stayed in Le Marais and spent the majority of my time just wandering, stopping at cute wine bars and gardens as I went. There wasn't much of … Continue reading #Take12Trips: October

#Take12Trips: September

October 9, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / 3 Comments

September was an exciting, busy month. Labor Day weekend took me to Copenhagen for a quick introduction to Denmark. Two weeks later, I returned to Europe for 13 days traveling throughout Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich and Paris. Last fall, I promised myself I'd attend Oktoberfest this year. Working back from time planned in Munich, I decided to explore another … Continue reading #Take12Trips: September

#Take12Trips: August

August 27, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

Much like June and July (sensing a trend, yet?), I stayed local. The truth is I don't like traveling in the summer. It's when cost to travel to most destinations is highest, in part because everyone travels at this time of the year. Even though I stayed local this month, I had every intention of checking … Continue reading #Take12Trips: August

#Take12Trips: July

August 2, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

Can't believe it's already August! Even though I'm over the hot, humid, sticky weather, and excited for a fall filled with travel, I can't believe how fast summer is flying by. Like June, I stayed local for most of the month. Instead of leaving the city for the long holiday weekend in the beginning of July, I opted … Continue reading #Take12Trips: July

#Take12Trips: June

July 5, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

It feels like I was welcoming June and the unofficial start of summer just last week, hard to believe it's already July! This month, I stayed local for most of the month- trying new restaurants/bars and checking out cafes in nearby 'hoods. With time to relax, I also started going to a meditation studio in the … Continue reading #Take12Trips: June

#Take12Trips: May

May 31, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

After a month filled with weekend trips and a week long vacation, I needed some time to get back in the groove of things. In May, I stayed in the city, and ventured to Bushwick, Brooklyn for a day-trip. I've been to Bushwick once before, but didn't go out there with the intention of actively checking … Continue reading #Take12Trips: May

#Take12Trips: April

May 1, 2016November 29, 2016 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

After a few weekend trips (Philly for a race and Cape Cod for a wedding), and a vacation to Seattle and Tulum, I'm ready for a few weeks back in the city. As much as I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things, there's always anticipated comfort in coming home and getting back into a routine. This … Continue reading #Take12Trips: April

Autumn weekend in Edinburgh, these are a few of my favourite things edition:
Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year to visit Scotland 🍂
To me, you are perfect ✨
Mallorca’s mountain towns are just the best.
One of Mallorca’s most visited hilltop villages, Valldemossa is winding, cobbled alleyways with the Tramuntana Mountains looming.
With the east side of Mallorca being known for its beautiful beaches, natch had to spend a day experiencing three of them.
