The Return of #Take12Trips, January 2021

February 7, 2021 / Yale Wanders / 2 Comments

365 days in a year, 52 weekends, a lot of time to travel. Back in 2016, when I first started blogging as a way to document my travels, I started a blog series called #Take12Trips. It's a continuation of the only resolution I made in 2016, a promise to commit to doing something new (to me) … Continue reading The Return of #Take12Trips, January 2021

#Take12Trips: January

February 8, 2018March 3, 2018 / Yale Wanders / 2 Comments

A new year, a new slew of adventures ahead for #Take12Trips. What is #Take12Trips? #Take12Trips in 2018 is a continuation of the only resolution I made in 2016- a promise to commit to doing something once a month. Anything counts- it can be dinner at a new place, visiting a new museum or spending the weekend at a … Continue reading #Take12Trips: January

Looking Back: 2017 #Take12Trips

January 8, 2018February 4, 2018 / Yale Wanders / 2 Comments

1 international move, 1 new flat, 17 countries, 31 cities, 33 flights, 21 trains, 3 new tattoos, 1 half marathon, 96 blog posts and infinite venti cold brews. 2017, you were one for the record books. I’m not usually one for New Year’s resolutions- I believe you can start making a change any day of the … Continue reading Looking Back: 2017 #Take12Trips

#Take12Trips: September

October 10, 2017October 6, 2017 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

I don't even remember it being early September- where did the month go?! I knew it'd be a busy month, but somehow, it ended up being even more hectic than planned. Early in the month, I finally made it out to Bath for a day trip and was blown away. It's become my favourite English … Continue reading #Take12Trips: September

#Take12Trips: May

June 15, 2017June 16, 2017 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

This month, I visited a few new cities and a new continent! Asia has been on my list for quite a while, but a trip just never seemed to come to fruition- parts of the US and Europe have always been bigger priorities. After spending a week and a half in Hong Kong, Macau and Japan … Continue reading #Take12Trips: May

#Take12Trips: April

Springtime in London is just darling. Sunshine, stunning wysteria, and that perfect temperature weather where all you need is a light jacket. Sure, there are rainy/colder/windy days, but so far I'm impressed by London's springtime game. This month, I took advantage of two bank holiday weekends (read: days off work) to visit Sweden, exploring Stockholm and … Continue reading #Take12Trips: April

#Take12Trips: February

March 16, 2017March 21, 2017 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

I know February is a short month, but it seems like it flew by in no time. I'd originally planed on doing a day trip to Oxford in between my return from Edinburgh and a trip to the States at the end of the month, but, you know, life happens. The good news though? I … Continue reading #Take12Trips: February

#Take12Trips: January

February 9, 2017February 18, 2017 / Yale Wanders / 2 Comments

Y'all! I can't believe I'm writing this post, and it's already February! Maybe it's because I uprooted my life and moved to a new country, but January feels like it flew by. I hope you guys are as excited for this upcoming year as I am- I've set some pretty big goals for myself, both for … Continue reading #Take12Trips: January

48 Hours in Edinburgh

February 7, 2017August 17, 2020 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

Edinburgh is a gorgeous city, full of history and charm. With cobbled streets, medieval stone buildings, pubs tucked below street level on every other corner, and some seriously good cocktail bars, you’re pretty much guaranteed a good time. I hadn’t planned on Edinburgh being my first trip after arriving in the UK. But, a flight deal … Continue reading 48 Hours in Edinburgh

Photo Diary: Edinburgh, Scotland

February 3, 2017August 17, 2020 / Yale Wanders / Leave a comment

I hadn't planned on Edinburgh being my first trip after arriving in the UK. But, a flight deal for $28 persuaded me to consider otherwise. At some point during my time in the UK, I want to do a road trip throughout Scotland- visiting whisky distilleries and exploring the highlands. Even though my first visit to Scotland … Continue reading Photo Diary: Edinburgh, Scotland

Beginning to think southwest is best 😍
A large desert valley, Phoenix is actually one of the biggest cities in the country.
A desert sunrise by way of my first hot air balloon ride was the most enchanting way to end a southwest road trip (despite the 3 am wake-up).
Sunrise is one of the most beautiful parts of the day in the desert landscape.
💌 from Sedona: Hiking and walking gorgeous tails, all the healthy eats (hibiscus eggs!), sound baths, and refreshing prickly pear sorbet 🤍
Sedona is incredible, the entire city radiates positive vibes.
